2023 Mesta Tempranillo

A vibrant and juicy, unoaked red wine, showing great purity and the typicity of high-altitude Tempranillo, with expressive and well-defined aromas of red berries, rosemary and a touch of liquorice. Bright ruby red colour. Fresh and with an excellent persistence on the palate, with round texture and a satisfyingly dry finish. 2023 Mesta Tempranillo Rosado
An approachable but serious rosé wine, displaying great purity and typicity for the noble Tempranillo grape, in a lighter, more elegant style than most Spanish rosés. Pale strawberry colour, with intense and fresh berry aromas over subtle floral notes. Excellent concentration and a slightly off-dry finish, beautifully balanced by crisp acidity and a refreshing, savoury note. A perfect summer drink and a highly versatile food wine with pasta, rice dishes, vegetables and curries as well as stir-fried, spicier dishes. 2024 Good Juice Pink

The next release under our Good Juice wine label is the new 2024 Good Juice ‘Pink’ rosé. Another collaboration with Dirty Black Denim winemaker, Lawrence Scanlon, and essentially a new vintage of our 2023 version with some slight tweaks.Once again, it’s 100% Sangiovese from the Corsini Vineyard in King Valley. Early picked and direct pressed but unlike the previous release, this vintage there’s a generous barrel ferment portion which was allowed to develop a light veil of flor yeast as well as a tank ferment portion. Blended post malolactic fermentation. No additives other than a small amount of SO2 at bottling.The result is a wonderfully balanced and nuanced rosé showing bright red fruit character supported by lovely nutty savoury tones. Great acidity, subtle leesy creaminess with wonderful structure and length. Strawberry, cashew, oats, creamy lees. Just like a strawberry yoghurt top muesli bar! Yum.

They had become a little disillusioned with the quality of Pet Nats being released on the market so wanted to release one under the Jumping Juice Label – but they wanted to get it right. They spent two years developing the ultimate crowd pleaser, a stable wine that tastes like watermelon and has bubbles for days!
2023 Mesta Verdejo
A crisp, aromatic white wine, showing great purity of aromas and a precise expression of the Verdejo grape. Bright, pale straw yellow, with intense, fresh notes of grass, fennel and white pepper. Dry but juicy on the palate, with excellent balance, a moderate alcohol of only 12,5% with a persistent, slightly mineral finish. 2023 Unico Zelo Esoterico
Crafting a pinpoint precise, squeaky clean wine is one of the most boring things we could possibly think of. We prefer embracing your inner creative, and searching for more radical experiences. This has become one of our most cult-followed wines since we began. It's not exactly white wine, nor red - many call it Amber wine...but we just call it Esoterico. We make no additions of any kind - save for sulphur when we bottle the wine. There is no fining or filtration involved, with the wine allowed to clarify by gravity alone - resulting in a slight haze and sediment. This is one of the most enjoyable wines to craft, as there was no preconceived idea of what it must taste like - the chief driver is pure drinkability - a 'scrumptious' quality - mouthwatering acidity and 'say hello!' tannins.
